ABOUT THE PROJECT

Transforming Medical Knowledge into a Consumer Skincare Brand

Tzouma Lab was created as the product and eCommerce extension of Tzouma Clinic, designed to bring dermatological knowledge into everyday skincare routines. The challenge was not only to launch a premium skincare line, but to build a brand ecosystem that communicates trust, clarity, and medical credibility across every customer touchpoint.

I led the brand strategy and creative direction of Tzouma Lab from its inception, shaping its identity, digital presence, and overall experience. The focus was to move away from typical skincare marketing narratives and instead present products through structure, education, and thoughtful design — allowing users to understand what they are using and why.

PROJECT GOALS

The primary objective was to build a scalable eCommerce brand capable of standing independently while remaining deeply connected to the medical philosophy of Tzouma Clinic. Tzouma Lab needed to educate without overwhelming, guide without prescribing, and inspire trust through transparency and consistency.

Through a clear design system, restrained visual language, and content-first UX approach, the platform was designed to support informed purchasing decisions. Product information, routines, and benefits are presented with structure and intention, allowing users to understand not just what to use, but why.

At the same time, the brand needed to perform commercially — combining premium positioning with frictionless navigation, clear purchase paths, and a cohesive digital experience across web and social platforms.

DESIGNING THE COMPLETE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

From Brand Vision to Everyday Experience

Beyond branding and website design, I designed the entire customer journey of Tzouma Lab in detail. This included the logic and design of product packaging, instruction materials, and supporting documentation, ensuring consistency between the physical and digital brand experience.

The eCommerce ecosystem was developed end-to-end, covering payment flows, shipping methods, returns and refund procedures, and all necessary customer-facing forms. Equal attention was given to post-purchase communication and customer service touchpoints, shaping a clear and reassuring support framework aligned with the brand’s medical tone.

In parallel, I developed the content and copy strategy across all channels — from product descriptions and educational content to transactional messaging — ensuring that language remains precise, calm, and trustworthy throughout the user journey.

Aligning Education, Commerce, and Community

Tzouma Lab was designed as a living digital ecosystem rather than a static webshop. I shaped the brand’s content strategy, social media presence, and marketing efforts to function as an extension of the clinic’s educational philosophy, translating expertise into accessible, everyday communication.

Campaigns, visuals, motion assets, and editorial-style content were art-directed to support both brand awareness and commercial performance. This integrated approach allowed marketing, content, and eCommerce to work together cohesively — supporting growth while maintaining consistency and credibility.

My Approach

Tzouma Lab demonstrates how medical credibility, thoughtful design, and structured digital strategy can come together to form a complete brand experience. By treating every interaction — from packaging and content to checkout and customer support — as part of one coherent system, the brand establishes trust through clarity and consistency.

The result is a scalable skincare platform that supports informed decision-making, long-term relationships, and sustainable growth, positioning Tzouma Lab as a reliable reference point within a crowded skincare landscape.
