ABOUT THE PROJECT
Shaping a Global Fashion Brand in the Digital Space
During my time at FF Group, I worked as Digital Art Director for Folli Follie, overseeing the brand’s digital visual communication across social media, campaigns, and online platforms. The role required balancing fashion storytelling with strategic clarity, ensuring the brand remained relevant, aspirational, and consistent across multiple markets and channels.
My responsibilities spanned from defining the digital visual language and art direction to collaborating with marketing, e-commerce, and creative teams on campaigns, branded content, mobile interfaces, and visual merchandising applications. The focus was always on maintaining brand coherence while allowing flexibility for seasonal narratives and product launches.

PROJECT GOALS
The primary goal was to strengthen Folli Follie’s digital presence and align it seamlessly with the brand’s global identity. This meant creating a visual system capable of supporting fast-paced content production, campaign storytelling, and cross-platform consistency — without diluting the brand’s fashion-forward character.
Through structured art direction, cohesive design guidelines, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, digital communication was shaped to feel confident, contemporary, and emotionally engaging. Social media, e-commerce touchpoints, and digital campaigns were designed not only to communicate products, but to reinforce lifestyle positioning and brand desirability.

CREATIVE & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
Translating Brand Vision Across Teams and Platforms
The project evolved through close collaboration with marketing, digital, and retail teams, as well as external partners and creatives. Working within a large, international organization required aligning multiple stakeholders around a shared creative direction while responding to commercial priorities and tight timelines.
By establishing clear visual frameworks and creative guidelines, teams across fashion, accessories, and beauty categories were able to work consistently within the brand’s identity. This collaborative structure ensured that campaigns, content, and digital assets remained visually aligned while adapting to different platforms, audiences, and market needs.

CONCLUSION
Fashion Storytelling Through Digital Craft
My Approach
The work on Folli Follie focused on building a strong, recognizable digital presence grounded in art direction, rhythm, and brand clarity. From animated content and video to mobile interfaces and e-commerce style guides, every output was designed to feel part of a unified visual system.
A defining highlight of this period was the “35 Experiences by Folli Follie” campaign — an award-winning social media initiative that combined storytelling, lifestyle imagery, and experiential branding, earning a Bronze Award for Best Use of Social Media for a Consumer Brand at the Social Media Awards 2017.
Overall, the project demonstrated how structured creative direction and strategic digital thinking can elevate a fashion brand’s communication — ensuring relevance, consistency, and measurable impact in an increasingly fast-moving digital landscape.

“The challenge was creating a digital system flexible enough for daily content, yet strong enough to protect the brand’s identity.”
“Award-winning campaigns come from clarity — a clear idea, a clear visual language, and a clear understanding of the audience.”

"Working closely with Angela Katri, whose deep understanding of the brand and instinct for clarity shaped every strategic decision, and Nick Tsegkis, whose leadership and management approach elevated the execution, allowed the project to grow into a cohesive, confident brand world — grounded in consistency, collaboration, and creative trust."
